Abbot G. (Shorty) and Cheryl Williams
Life
long Birmingham area residents engaged in the mortgage business. Shorty (pictured
to the left) was a Peace Corps Volunteer in 1982-85 and continues to be active
in Peace Corps activities. Shorty and wife Cheryl have participated in mission projects
Nicaragua, Panama and Guatemala. They taught school at a junior college in China
in 1996. They travel abroad regularly and have visited some 70-80 countries
in the past 25 years.
